> Middle School Cohort focused on developing advanced fundamental skills to prepare to play for elite high school teams, including competitive games agaisnt elite compeittion
> High School Cohort providing college level training, competition, recruiting advice, college vistis, and exposure to prepare to play college basketball and position them to get scholarships and offers.
> Prep School to allow High School graduates to gain an additional year of elite level training, exposure, and competition in conjunction with the Gillion Recruitment Services to pursue college offers and scholarships.

Our Academic partners are NCAA approved and Nationally accredited, providing virtual learning from licensed teachers on a customizable asynchronous platform ensuring that all Gillion Academy student athletes receive Middle School and High School credit towards their graduation and is accepted by the NCAA.

All online classes are taught by licensed teachers from fully accredited academies recognized by the State. Individually tailored classes and curriculum are selected in conjunction with our Director of Academics with the choice of over 100 Regular, Honors, AP and Dual Enrollment classes in Core Subject Area such as Math, Science, English, Social Studies, and Foreign Language, PLUS Electives.

The Gillion Academy combines online accredited academic learning with on-site educational support from licensed teachers to ensure a positive learning environment and that schoolwork is completed in a timely manner. Our Academic leaders will conduct daily checks of grades and require student athletes to complete their coursework and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA to be eligible for basketball activities. Any student athlete having issues with any class will receive on-site suport and tutoring where needed to meet our strict academic requirements. Our academic providers will accomodate any IEP and 504 plans.

We will require all student athletes to take SAT/ACT prep classes provided by one of our accredited academic partners.

We are proud ot announce that as of September 2024 for the current 2024-2025 academic school year, our Middle School and High School Cohorts are averaging a 3.93 Grade Point Average in their online classes.
elite basketball training
Gillion Academy student athletes will train with our Division 1/Pro Player Development coaches and trainers in our state of the art facility utilizing the Gillion Elite Guard Curriculum that has produced over 200 college basketball players and over 50 professional athletes in the NBA and overseas.

Only Gillion Academy can guarantee D1 and pro player development coaches and trainers who have either played or coached Division 1 basketball, with professional teams, or at elite high school ranked programs that regularly send athletes to Division 1. Some of our past, present and future athletes trained include Anfernee Simons, Kai Jones, Matthew and Ryan Bewley, Kenny Boynton, Wesley Cardet Jr., Marcis Ponder and Sifeng Huan.

In addition to top tier trainers and coaches, Gillion Academy student athletes will train at our state of the art facility with an NBA sized half court, additional shooting court, Dr. DIsh machines, speed and plyometrics space with hurdles, plyo boxes, ladders, jump ropes, vertimax, and shuffle cones; a weight room with bench press, Smith Machine, pulley system, dumbbell rack, resistance bands, kettlebells, and medicine balls; a recovery room; a game film study area with Smartboards; and

Ball Handling, Counter Moves, Triple Threat, Driving to the Basket, Proper Footwork, Shooting Drills, Shooting % Tracking, Pick and Roll, Screens, Motion Offense Sets, Pro Defense Drills, Backdoor Cuts, Moves to Beat Defenders, Passing, Aggressive Play, Game Film Analysis, Reading the Defense, and Creaitng Shots.
